What’s A Life Night?
In case you
haven’t heard, Sunday evenings at Saints John & Paul are all about teens!
The Life Night starts with 5:30 PM Mass, continues downstairs with dinner
(6:30-7:00), and the Life Night event (7-8:30 PM). You can
join in at any part of the night. All teens grades 9-12 and their
friends (Catholic or not) are welcome. Teens from many different schools
are regulars at Life Nights. Come check it out!
So what happens at a Life Night?
We usually start
with prayer lead by a core member or teen leader.
The night continues with a skit or video that helps us focus on the
topic for the night. A teaching is given by a core member, teen
leader,
or in another creative way. We then break into small groups and/or do
an activity to help you discuss and explore the topic for yourself.
We
end the night with prayer and our family song. (We also have a bunch of
social nights where the night is much more laid back.)
